DAY TRIP TO THE BLUE MOUNTAINS!
The hills will be alive with the sound of music and mountain madness on our weekend of fun, frivolity and fabulousness with GuysAdventures this Winter!
We’ve charted a fabulous vintage steam locomotive with four amazing restored carriages bound for the Blue Mountains in the grandest of style. Spend a day in the campest of mountain capitals - Katoomba and surrounds, with all sorts of shenanigans available fit for a queen, king or princess!
If you haven’t experienced a GuysAdventures trip before, now is your chance.
Day 1 I SATURDAY 18 June 2022 – Early at the station guys and gals !
06.40am: Bright and early start this morning checking in at Sydney Central station for an on-time departure of 6.55am. Grab yourself a coffee (or something stronger) and some nibbles prior to boarding.
Sydney Terminal 0655, Strathfield 0714, Parramatta 0732, Penrith 0810, Arrive Katoomba 1019.
06.55am: The GUYSADVENTURESXPRESS will depart bang on time so don’t be late! Don’t worry, in true GuysAdventures style we’ll have a very special team of ‘conductors’ headed up by none other than the fabulous Miss Joyce Maynge to help you board on time and settle into your comfy coach ! And of course there’ll be a little bit of ‘in flight silliness’ to enjoy along the way!
10.19am: Welcome to Katoomba the camp capital of the Blue Mountains!
You’re just in time to celebrate the Winter Solstice at the fabled Carrington Hotel. Their Old City Bank Bar & Brasserie is open from 12noon, or pop into Champagne Charlie’s Cocktail Bar, serving a special all-day menu from 11am. For the more energetic there’s oodles of bushwalking to be done (heels optional), or if you need to get high - ride a cable car. For truly royal treatment fit for a queen, chill out in a local day spa, or explore one of many local galleries. Whatever you decide, this Blue Mountains is all about you! Be cool, be fabulous!
3.55pm: Your GUYSADVENTURESXPRESS will depart from Katoomba railway station 3.55pm sharp. The fun isn’t over yet guys and gals – Paul Mac and Johnny Seymour will be DJ'ing onboard our private charter back to Sydney, so get your shoes and shawls ready, for our 7.05pm arrival.

All advertised times are approximate and will be confirmed 3 weeks prior to departure. To ensure this adventure is a complete success, the onus is on you guys & gals, our fabulous guests to adhere to all departure and meeting times.
